Who I Am and What I Have in Jesus Christ
“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”— John 8:31–32
1. MY FREEDOM IN CHRIST
I have been set free by Jesus Christ.
Free from the law of sin & death, free from bondage & slavery, free from the bounds of this earth .
John 8:36“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”
Romans 8:1–2“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus... For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.”
Colossians 1:13–14“He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”
Galatians 5:1“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free.”
Romans 6:6“Our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.”
Romans 6:11“Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:14“For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”
2 Corinthians 5:17“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
I declare:
Jesus Christ has set me free.
I have been delivered from the power of darkness and brought from darkness into the light, into the Kingdom of God's beloved Son.
There is no condemnation for me for I am in Christ Jesus.
Sin does not rule over me, I rule over it.
My old life was crucified with Christ.
I am alive to God in Christ Jesus.
I am a new creation.
Jesus the Son has set me free, I am free indeed.
2. MY IDENTITY IN CHRIST
I belong to God.
John 1:12“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”
Galatians 3:26“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”
Romans 8:15–16“You received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’ The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.”
Ephesians 1:3–5“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ... having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself.”
Ephesians 2:10“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
1 Corinthians 6:19–20“Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God... For you were bought at a price.”
Colossians 3:3“For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.”
1 Peter 2:9“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people.”
I declare:
I am a child of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
God is my Father.
I have received the Spirit of adoption.
I belong to Jesus Christ.
I was bought with a price, the price of His Blood.
I am God's workmanship.
I am a new creation in Christ.
My life is hidden with Christ in God.
The Holy Spirit dwells within me.
I am chosen by God and called to proclaim His praises.
My identity is found in Jesus Christ.
3. MY ABILITY IN CHRIST
My sufficiency comes from God.
Philippians 4:13“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
2 Corinthians 3:5“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God.”
2 Corinthians 12:9“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Ephesians 3:16“That He would grant you... to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.”
Ephesians 3:20“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”
2 Timothy 1:7“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
1 Corinthians 2:16“But we have the mind of Christ.”
James 1:5“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God... and it will be given to him.”
I declare:
My sufficiency is from God.
Christ strengthens me.
His grace is sufficient for me.
The Holy Spirit strengthens me in my inner being.
God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
I seek God's wisdom rather than relying upon my own understanding.
I have access to the mind of Christ through His Spirit and His Word.
God is working within me according to His power.
Apart from Christ I can do nothing, but abiding in Him I can bear good fruit. I can do all things through Christ in me.
4. MY BLESSING, PROTECTION & PROVISION IN CHRIST
My Father knows what I need.
Matthew 6:31–33“Do not worry... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
Philippians 4:19“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Psalm 23:1“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
Psalm 84:11“No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”
Romans 8:32“He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”
The Lord is my protector.
Psalm 91:1–2“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty... He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”
Psalm 121:7–8“The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in.”
Isaiah 54:17“No weapon formed against you shall prosper.”
2 Thessalonians 3:3“But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.”
Hebrews 13:5–6“For He Himself has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we may boldly say: ‘The LORD is my helper; I will not fear.’”
I declare:
The Lord is my Shepherd.
I lack nothing, I shall not want.
My Father knows what I need.
I seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness.
My God supplies my needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
The Lord is my refuge and fortress.
I dwell under the shadow of the Almighty.
The Lord guards my going out and my coming in.
He will never leave me nor forsake me.
The Lord is my helper; I will not fear.
I trust my Father for my provision, protection, and every good thing He determines I need.
5. GOD'S PROMISES OVER MY LIFE
God is faithful to His Word.
2 Corinthians 1:20“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”
Numbers 23:19“God is not a man, that He should lie... Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”
Isaiah 55:11“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void.”
Philippians 1:6“He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
Romans 8:28“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
Hebrews 10:23“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
I declare:
I have faith and trust in God.
God is faithful and true, He shall see me through.
God does not lie.
His Word is truth.
His promises in Christ are Yes and Amen.
God will accomplish His Word according to His will.
The One who began a good work in me will carry it to completion.
I hold fast to my hope because He who promised is faithful.
6. MY PURPOSE & CALLING IN CHRIST
I was created for God and His purposes.
Ephesians 2:10“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
Romans 12:1–2“Present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God... And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
Colossians 1:10“That you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
John 15:5“He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.”
John 15:8“By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”
Matthew 5:16“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
I declare:
I belong to God and my life is for His glory.
I am God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.
I offer myself to God as a living sacrifice.
I will not conform myself to this world.
I am being transformed through the renewing of my mind.
I abide in Jesus Christ.
Apart from Him I can do nothing.
Abiding in Him, I bear good fruit for His kingdom.
May my life glorify my Father in heaven.
7. I AM BEING TRANSFORMED INTO THE LIKENESS OF JESUS
God's purpose is that Christ be formed in me.
Romans 8:29“For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son.”
2 Corinthians 3:18“But we all... beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory.”
Galatians 4:19“My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you.”
Ephesians 4:22–24“Put off... the old man... be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and... put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”
Philippians 2:5“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.”
1 John 2:6“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.”
I declare:
Father, conform me to the image of Your Son.
Form Christ in me.
Transform me through Your Word and by Your Spirit.
Renew my mind.
Give me the mind of Christ, and your heart Father.
Teach me to think as Jesus thought.
Teach me to love as Jesus loved.
Teach me to forgive as Jesus forgave.
Teach me to obey as Jesus obeyed.
Teach me to serve as Jesus served.
Teach me to walk as Jesus walked.
May the life and character of Jesus Christ increasingly be revealed through me.
8. THE HEART & MIND OF CHRIST
Philippians 2:3–5“In lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself... Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.”
Colossians 3:12–14“Put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering... But above all these things put on love.”
Galatians 5:22–23“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.”
Ephesians 5:1–2“Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us.”
John 13:34“As I have loved you, that you also love one another.”
My Lord my God I pray:
Holy Spirit, produce the character of Jesus Christ in me.
Fill me with Your Presence, Your glory, Your
Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control.
Clothe me with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, forgiveness, and above all love.
I ask for a heart after your own heart.
Give me Your knowledge, wisdom, understanding, insight, discernment, revelation, and fear and reverence of You.
Let the mind of Christ govern my thoughts.
Let the heart of Christ govern my desires.
Let the love of Christ govern my relationships.
Let the Word of Christ dwell richly within me.
9. I AM CALLED TO DO THE WORKS OF GOD
John 14:12“He who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also.”
John 15:16“I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain.”
Matthew 28:18–20“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations... teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.”
Ephesians 2:10“We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.”
Philippians 2:13“For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”
Acts 1:8“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me.”
I declare:
I am a servant of Jesus Christ.
I have been created in Christ Jesus for good works.
God works within me both to desire and to accomplish His good pleasure.
Jesus has chosen and appointed His disciples to bear lasting fruit.
I am called to follow Jesus and participate faithfully in His Great Commission, to do the will and works of God.
Holy Spirit, empower me to be a faithful witness for Jesus Christ.
Father, show me the works You have prepared for me, led me, guide me, instruct me - I will listen and obey.
Give me ears to hear You, what You are saying.
Give me eyes to see what You are doing, where You are working.
Give me a heart after Your own heart, a willing heart to obey.
Not my will, but Yours be done.
10. MY DAILY ABIDING
John 15:4–5“Abide in Me, and I in you... He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit.”
Luke 9:23“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
Galatians 2:20“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”
Colossians 3:1–2“Seek those things which are above, where Christ is... Set your mind on things above.”
Proverbs 3:5–6“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
My Lord my God I pray, I declare:
Jesus, I choose You, above all I choose You.
Lord I desire You, to know You and be with You.
I abide in You.
I surrender myself to You.
I deny myself, take up my cross, and follow You.
I seek You before all things.
I set my heart and mind upon You.
I trust You with all my heart, soul and strength.
I will not lean upon my own understanding.
In all my ways I acknowledge You.
Direct my path.
Be Lord and God and King of my life.
Live Your life in me and through me.
DAILY CLOSING DECLARATION
I am in Christ, and Christ is in me.
I have been redeemed by His blood.
I have been forgiven.
I have been set free.
I am a child of God.
I am a new creation.
I am God's workmanship.
I am the temple of the Holy Spirit.
My life belongs to Jesus Christ.
My sufficiency is from God.
Christ strengthens me.
His grace is sufficient for me.
God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

The joy of the Lord is my strength.

My mind is being renewed by the Word of God.
The Holy Spirit is sanctifying me.
I am being transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ.
I desire the heart of Christ.
I desire the mind of Christ.
I desire the character of Christ.
I desire to walk as Jesus walked, to do as He did.
I have been created in Christ Jesus for good works.
I have been chosen to bear fruit that remains.
I am called to love God, love others, serve Christ, make disciples of all nations, do the will of God and glorify my Father.
Father, accomplish Your will in me.
Jesus, live Your life through me.
Holy Spirit, fill me, overflow through me, teach me, sanctify me, lead me, and empower me.
May I be with Jesus, become like Jesus, walk with Jesus, work with Jesus, worship Him, and ultimately rule and reign with Him.
“For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to Him be glory forever. Amen.” Romans 11:36
“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21
“He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30
“ I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me .” Galatians 2:20.
I have no life, but Jesus.
